YOUNGSTOWN – Brilex Technical Solutions was organized into four major product groups last year and increased its market presence in each.
The engineered-products division of Brilex Industries, BTS, specializes in design engineering and project management of heavy industrial equipment used in steel and aluminum production, scrap processing and custom turning applications. It employs 11.
As markets softened, BTS pivoted and received its largest order for a custom materials handling system from a new customer in a new market, says Joshua Vitale, general manager.
BTS is excited about its new billet handling and retrieval system for the aluminum extrusion industry, he says. And it has invested in marketing tools to boost product lines such as turntables that service offshore wind and commercial construction markets.
“This year will provide many opportunities driven by the capital investments in steel production, alternative energy and infrastructure.” says Vitale.
