Bubble Tech USA Helps Bars Increase Draft Beer Profits

LEETONIA – Bubble Tech USA was born in 2020 to help bars and restaurants get the most profit and best tasting beer out of their tap systems.

Michael Ervin, owner of the Leetonia-based company, started in the beverage industry in 2003 in Dallas, where he worked on draft beer projects that included the Dallas Cowboys Stadium.

The New Middletown native says he also worked on The Raleigh Beer Garden, which holds the Guinness World Record for the most taps in a single bar (388).

Ervin had traveled the country the last eight years helping customers find cost savings for their draft beer systems.

“I had been working trade shows, testing new products, and launching new product lines all over the country,” he says. “When COVID arrived in March, all travel was halted. This was the longest I had been home. I was finally able to be around my family and community more than I had for nearly a decade.”

While home, Ervin took notice of local bars and restaurants.

“I would see a lot of foam being dumped down the drain,” he says. “I knew I could help them.”

So it was that he made the decision to use his knowledge to help local businesses increase profits and he started Bubble Tech USA.

Bubble Tech will launch its custom installation division this year, Ervin says.

While continuing to offer line cleaning and maintenance services, Bubble Tech will now be able to offer solutions from start to finish that maximize profits from every keg.

The Ohio Liquor Board requires draft beer systems be cleaned every two weeks. The reason for this is yeast and other particulates build up over time and creates off flavors.
