Jewish Federation Leader Appointed to LeadingAge Ohio Board

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The membership of LeadingAge Ohio, an advocate for the continuum of long-term care services and supports, has confirmed the appointment of Eric Murray, executive director of senior services at Heritage Manor, to its board of directors.

Heritage Manor is operated by the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation.

LeadingAge Ohio represents nearly 400 long-term care organizations and hospices, as well as those providing ancillary health care and housing services. Most of its members are nonprofit providers.

Murray begins a three-year term, with the option to serve an additional three years.

“Eric brings a strategic mind for problem solving the financing needs of aging services,” says Kathryn Brod, president/CEO of LeadingAge Ohio. “He’s a roll-up-your-sleeves kind of person that has been an asset and key voice in our adult day advocacy.”

LeadingAge Ohio is a member-driven organization, with officers and directors elected by the membership. Murray’s confirmation occurred during the organization’s annual business meeting Sept. 1.
