TNP, Mahoning Valley Farmers Market Launch Webinar Series for Farm Owners

WARREN, Ohio – A new interactive workshop series hosted by Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership and Mahoning Valley Farmers Market is aimed at helping farms of all sizes expand their business.

The workshop series begins at 11 a.m. Saturday with a presentation, held via Zoom, on creating, using and evaluating a social media marketing plan. Participants will be given a digital workbook to plan their own social media campaigns.

“Having a strong online presence and the ability to accept non-cash payments like credit and the Ohio Direction Card is important for the long-term success of small direct to consumer farms and it has become even more so critical in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Cassandra Clevenger, TNP’s community resource coordinator, in a statement. “The workshops and networking opportunities provided through the Mahoning Valley Farmers Market Network help farmers and market managers increase their sales and customer base.”

Other workshops will cover credit card payment platforms, fundraising models and community outreach, and using social media to build a community around your brand.
